ADAM FREEMAN EDUCATION
Regular Academic Writing/Mentorship (Recording)
Learning Objectives
-
Instruction takes a “whole person” approach, where leadership development practices blend together with an understanding of historical, real-world contexts through developing skills in support of regular school curricula (i.e., research, critical thinking, written expression, and self-awareness).
-
We introduce a wide range of topics and practical writing styles (e.g., Argumentative Essay, Editorial, Personal Observation, Book/Film Review, Commentary, Speeches) for students to expand their writing ability.
-
The writing process includes significant focus upon grammar consolidation and vocabulary building.
-
Students learn how to incorporate AI as a tool in the learning process, rather than as a crutch.

University Preparation/Mentoring
My experience with college preparation and mentoring focusses on unlocking and harnessing the skills students are struggling to control at higher levels of complexity. Some of this work involves preparing for college admissions examinations (i.e., IELTS, TOEFL), while others centre on mentoring university students. I am incredibly comfortable with preparing students for the rigours of university-level academic achievement.

Summer Bridging Programme
As students transition from primary school to secondary school (or even up another grade), they encounter new challenges. Therefore, a continual process of maintaining daily communication and study, by practicing classroom language, adding vocabulary and deepening study skills remains essential.
In addition to consolidating a student’s academic English knowledge, our programme aims at improving their confidence in every aspect of communication (listening, speaking, reading and writing). This will better equip them for the new academic year.
To stimulate student interest in learning, this programme adopts a fun, creative approach that allows them to learn English in an stress-free environment.
Similar to our regular courses, this programme is tailor-made for each student according to their level and learning goals, with a progress report provided by the teacher at the end of the programme.
To help students strike a balance between study and fun time, our summer sessions can be flexibly scheduled from July through end-September.
