Unlock Your Intellectual Capacity

Hi! I am Adam Freeman.
My life as an educator really began when I arrived in Japan in 2003. Working with students there helped me to cultivate patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to the varying capacities of different kinds of human beings. I then took that experience to Malaysia, developing myself through various professional accomplishments, including the completion of a Masters in Educational Leadership and Management via the University of Nottingham.
After Malaysia, I explored opportunities in Hong Kong, China, the United Arab Emirates, and even volunteered in Colombia for a short time. Yet, the direction of my professional life was deeply impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, during which I focussed more on the instruction of writing and critical thinking. I also dove into the world of books, reading widely and discovering new worlds. Those skills have allowed me to benefit students struggling to express themselves in a sophisticated manner. Through our work together, I’ve guided students toward a more liberated way of expressing their thoughts. I’ve been able to help them tap into the growing leader they are already in the process of becoming.
Indeed, a voyage of becoming; facilitating this is at the core of my instructional style, as I consistently encourage free, flexible approaches to discovering and processing new methods of thinking, of embracing new ways of being. I invite you to join me in opening new capacities within yourself. I invite you to unlock your potential.
Developing the soft skills needed for 21st Century leadership is a holistic process demanding that we know ourselves, our strengths and weaknesses, and how our choices impact others. Indeed, the process of discovering ourselves throughout the learning process holds deep merit, opening thoughtful pathways to a deeper understanding of one's place within our constantly changing world.

"Why Adam Freeman Education?"
Let's hear what Adam has to say...
Wondering...

I maintain extensive experience teaching both students and teachers from several different cultures around the world. This allows me adapt myself to individual student needs.

My approach incorporates elements of leadership development that help students develop the soft skills the 21st Century requires.

My reading habits are wide and diverse, and allow me the capacity to knowledgably engage with various subjects. This helps introduce new vocabulary and information more readily; students are always learning new information.

I employ a humane approach toward student progression, focussing attention on ensuring a strong life-study balance. I seek to help students find their own motivations and inspirations.

Tailored, flexible, remote one-on-one sessions allow students agency in crafting the direction of study they prefer. This kind of self-paced learning invariably leads to flexible learning outcomes.

I effectively incorporate Artificial Intelligence as a tool, focussing on how such technology can function as an extension of a critical approach to learning, rather than solely as a crutch.
All standards are connected to reputable programmes and rubrics.

What happy students and parents say...
Chinese undergraduate studying in America
Adam is the best teacher I've ever had. Throughout the four years of the course, he has gradually improved my speaking and writing skills by setting appropriate levels of difficulty. In the beginning, through speaking practice and learning idioms, Adam effectively increased my speaking fluency and authenticity. In the later stage of the course, we focused more on discussing complex topics in history, politics, and economics, which not only improved my academic English, but also developed my critical thinking skills and helped me prepared for academic discussions in American universities. After taking this course, I can now express my ideas in English with confidence and clarity, which also helps a lot in my daily studies and other English proficiency tests. In conclusion, Adam is a highly skilled, knowledgeable and responsible teacher. I can't thank Adam enough for his years of teaching and encouragement
Canadian eleventh-grade student
Before I started writing with Adam, I found it difficult to find the right words to express my thoughts and the format to neatly structure my ideas–writing felt so foreign to me. Despite this, after consistently practicing my writing with Adam, his feedback and teaching have guided me toward success. In school, I utilized the techniques I learned with Adam to analyze literature and write detailed essays which allowed me to achieve exceptional grades. His professional feedback, valuable resources, and overall guidance in my writing shaped how I express myself and my ideas in writing. Writing would still feel foreign without Adam. However, with their support and guidance, writing feels natural and a way in which I can effectively express my thoughts and showcase my ideas.
Chinese Canadian parent
As an immigrant to Canada, I’ve distinctly observed the difference between the Chinese and Western cultures. Even though our children are born and educated in Canada, it is difficult for them to grasp the essence of Western culture. Under Adam’s guidance, not only did my daughter’s writing skill improve, but also she started to understand the nuances of Western culture. As for her English marks at school, her scores increased to no less than 90%, and she even scored 100% on an important exam.
I’ve talked to other parents who don’t view English classes as a form of cultural learning. They view it like Maths and Science, where the higher the student’s level is, the higher the score. This is a common misperception. I’m glad that, through Adam’s fine efforts in teaching my daughter, I feel like I made a wise choice. It is my honour to recommend his services and instructional style.
